I have had my Sennheiser HD555 for 2 years, recently had the MK II's and now also have the Sennheiser 598 and these Beyer DT990 Pro's. I will discard out of the comparison the AKG's because I don't believe them worthy. The upper/mid range is very good the sound-stage/imaging ok, but Base is severely lacking. They feel cheap.
